After last months outing by Manuel Tur, we continue to give output to some of the industry's rising stars. Keeping with the Essen theme, we are delighted to have Langenberg mix the new episode for November.
Langenberg aka Max Heesen, has been chipping away at the deep house scene since his introduction on Agnes' chic label Sthlm Audio back in 2007. Since then he has not looked back, releasing E.P's on Steve Bugs Poker Flat offshoot Dessous, as well as more recent outings on Drumpoet Community and Liebe Detail respectively. Pushing things forward, he is one of the founders of Essens new label 'Mild Pitch', alongside friends Manuel Tur and Dplay. This label was set up with the aim to push the Essen scene , as well as showcasing the many talents this city has to offer.
With all this in mind, Max still has time to collabrate with Manuel Tur to form the partnership RIBN. A partnership that allows them both to explore something different to what they are used to and allows them to explore different ideas and themes. This mix certainly shows how versatile Langenberg can be, with a nice blend of deep house, disco and some of his own productions as RIBN. Enjoy.

Having had such a strong year, Manuel Tur jumps on board to mix the latest podcast for us here at mono_cult. With his RIBN project with Langenberg gaining huge support around the globe, and his quirky, deep releases as himself, Manuel has found his place in a very competitive market.
Having just set up the 'mild pitch' label alongside Essen bases friends D-play and Langenberg, they are concentrating in pushing the trio's music to another level. With their aptly named 'slow club' night in Essen alongside Gerd Janson, these boys seem to have found a niche which is gaining recognition with all the right people.
As with Quarion, we gave Manuel a blank canvas to create a mix that gives everyone an insight into what music he's liking at the minute. The result is a different, downtempo affair with hints of deep house and disco. Enjoy.

Known to his friends as Guillame, W!LD has upped his status in recent months as one of the hottest DJ/Producers, already having releases on French super label Robsoul and motivbank, plus seperate releases under his parisian alter ego Catwash. With releases lined up for Oslo's sister label Love Letters and Soweso later this year, W!LD is certainly making an imprint in all the right places.
After the last installment by Quarion, W!LD delivers a mix that is built entirely for the dancefloor. Full of unreleased material, this is one that needs to be loud! Enjoy.

A welcome change of pace, Drumpoet Community's adopted son Quarion delivers the next episode in our series. Famed for his unique take on the house/disco crossover, he has enjoyed huge success with E.P's on Drumpoet, as well as stella remixes for Quintessentials and Connaisseur respectively.
For this episode, Quarion told us he wanted to create a mix which had a good blend of old and new tracks with a few surprises thrown in. With this in mind, he has created a timeless mix that will provide a soundtrack to anything you want it to. Enjoy.

For our next podcast installment we have asked highly rated London whizzkid Alex Celler to join the party. Alex has shot to the attention of us through high recommendations from Nick Curly and Robert Dietz. With his ‘Trapped in Dub Ep’ release due out on Jay Haze’s TuningSpork imprint later this week, and his massive hit ‘La Palma’ which is gaining massive support from Luciano, Loco Dice and many more, is due out on the Dutch super label AreaRemote later this year. Not foregetting his work with fellow Londoner Anthea, which has caught the attention of Nick Curly and Cecille.
Alex is certainly one to watch over the next 12 months.
His mix is laden with tight percussion and solid tribal groove that we have become accustomed to in recent months here at mono_cult. He is one of our favourites and we do hope you enjoy....
